ETC’s Situational-Analytical Complex Reaches Top 20 in WSIS Prizes 2025
The Situational-Analytical Complex (SAC), an information system developed by the Engineering and Technical Center (ETC) of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has been selected among the top 20 global projects in the category “The Role of Governments and All Stakeholders in the Promotion of ICTs for Development” at the prestigious WSIS Prizes 2025 international competition.
The project is currently participating in online public voting, which runs from April 11 to April 30. The winners will be announced on July 8, 2025, during the WSIS+20 High-Level Event in Geneva, Switzerland.
This year, the competition received 973 project submissions from around the world. An international panel of experts shortlisted 360 top initiatives, selecting 20 projects in each of the 18 categories.
SAC is an advanced analytical system designed for visualizing operational data and supporting management decision-making. It aggregates and processes information from various systems, builds a multidimensional data warehouse, and displays key performance indicators on a customizable Executive Dashboard.
Since 2022, SAC has been successfully operating within the Administrative Directorate of the President, and as of last year, it has also been implemented in the Presidential Administration. The system has proven its effectiveness and has become a valuable tool for improving transparency and performance quality in the public sector.
The WSIS Prizes is a globally recognized competition organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as part of the World Summit on the Information Society.
